Hopping Mad videos feature in Rabbit Awareness Week campaign

Have you checked the Rabbit Awareness Week site yet? It's a fantastic resource for lots of quality bunny info.
We're delighted that two of our videos have been included as supporting films to the articles on Enrichment and Environment, and thank the RAW people for providing such a comprehensive website.

We are Happy Hoppers and we're Hopping Mad!

‘Hopping Mad!’ is a UK based free quarterly on-line rabbit care and welfare publication, produced by Happy Hoppers rabbit forum. We aim to bring companion rabbit owners quality community content and enhance the profile of welfare organisations, rescues and experts via the magazine and our 'Welfare links and resources' directory.

Happy Hoppers forum opened its virtual doors to the rabbit loving public in August 2008. It has a good reputation for the quality of the care and welfare information on the forum, as well as through the You-Tube channel. Education and implementation are part of the solution for reducing the number of abandoned rabbits that enter rescue centers, by reducing the number of rabbits that are purchased without enough understanding of their needs and lives.

The Happy Hoppers You Tube channel was launched in March 2009, pulling together the experience of our members to promote better care for companion rabbits as well as highlighting welfare and rescue issues. Using member's photos, video clips, information from the forum, and the expert advice of dr Anne McBride, it was our first new limb to extend the community's wealth of experience to reach a wider audience. In just under 2 years, over 25,000 people have watched the videos.
